Single Saturdays at Jumping Jiminy's
Are you a single parent and would like to meet other single parents? Well we are starting a Singles Saturday to be held each month. For our first one we ask that you come and be apart of helping us create what will be. Are you wanting to meet other single moms or dads like yourself. We are looking at offering speed dating, interactive games etc. We need you to come on Saturday Feb. 13th to help us put together a successful event. This time there will be no additional cost, admission as normal but we will provide free coffee, tea, lemonade and ice-tea. Hope to see you here!

Mommy And Me
Climbing Co-op for parents with young children. (ages 1 month to 5 years)
Have you always wanted to try rock climbing(or get back into it), but can never find the time because you are blessed with kids? We have the solution for you!
Every TUESDAY morning, we open up the gym from 10am - 12pm and provide a safe and quiet atmosphere for you and your kids to come climb and hang out.
This is a great way to meet other active parents, as you must take turns watching each others kids. (The co-op part!) We provide a staff member to make sure everything is running smoothly. Feel free to bring your friends to watch or help with the kids also.
We can provide complete child care upon request
Cost: $15 drop in rate. Please book ahead.
How To Find Us: Take Nanaimo Parkway to Mostar Road (exit 24) Turn LEFT on to Boban Drive. Look for the Rock Pilar on the left. Come around back!

Movies for Mommies (and Daddies too) presented by Avalon Cinema Centre
Special movie screenings for people with young ones to enjoy the show without having to fret about disturbing other guests.
Please feel free to bring your friends and family and most importantly your children! This is a chance for you to get out and see some of our current movies, but please be aware they may not be appropriate for children of all ages.
Movies for Moms will be every Monday morning at 10:00am at the Avalon Cinemas in the Woodgrove Mall. Doors open at 9:30am.
We will turn the sound down a touch and leave the lights on a little brighter to help you to keep an eye on your little ones.
Prices are $8.95 for adults. Children 3 and under are free.

Swimming at Beban Pool
Beban Indoor Pool - Public Swimming Sessions Loonie - Twoonie Swim Length swimming at a low rate! All ages are welcome. The leisure pool and slide are open during this session Admission is just a loonie or twoonie on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:30 am until 12 noon at Beban Pool.
There are lots of other times you can go swimming but this is a great one for the kids because it is so inexpensive and it tends not to be too busy at this time. Bring your own swim diaper or you can purchase them at the reception.
